Importance of Critical Thinking

Critical thinking helps us analyze the information we have and to consider the information that we do not yet have. All too often, decisions are made based on faulty data, or upon logical fallacies which distort our perception of known facts.

With critical thinking, we use interest, humility and restraint to find the best possible answers. Even so, we remain open to new information. With critical thinking, we know that even our best answers can be wrong, because we do not know everything in the universe that may be affecting our topic of interest.

Example of Critical Thinking
